Kelly Michelle Stables was raised in St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia gave her a Bachelor of Arts (with the highest distinction) in Communication and Theatre. After moving into Los Angeles, she became active in the theater arts and started acting in choreographing and directing more than two dozen musicals and plays including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch at Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera and 7 title parts in Los Angeles' award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly pursued her improv training in The Groundlings, and joined Theatre West as a Company member. As a result, she started landing roles in films and television. It is her voice and small stature that has made her able to tackle a number of roles. She is known for her role alongside Naomi Watts taking over the role as the evil Samara on The Ring 2 but is popularly known for her role as the bright and bubbly receptionist of Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a regular on the series for TV the Land's The Exes for the years 2011-2015. Kelly played both a paralegal as well as a nightclub goer. Additionally, she was a Regular in ABC Romantically Challenged where she played the sassy sexpert younger sibling of Alyssa Miano. The show also featured her as the suburban mom who's over-stressed in CW No Tomorrow. The soprano voice of hers has been used in several shows including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Her most recent performance was that of a sluggish but charming Cloud 9 staffer on NBC's super-hit comedy Superstore. She lives a quiet life which is fairly quiet with a husband and her two kids. She loves to sew and write and volunteers at schools.
